If any of you are having trouble upgrading on the site please contact the GenesConnected support team directly. We will then be able to check your membership details for you. When you upgrade and it has been successful then you should receive an 8 digit transaction ID from Worldpay. If you do not receive this then it is unlikely that the upgrade has been successful. If you have received it and still cannot access the facilities for full members, then please email the ID details to us so that we can check your account. You can contact us at the bottom of each page or via the Help pages.

It's alright for some, my payment is still awaiting authorisation, even though it cleared my account over a month ago. I can't get a response from G.C. despite several e-mails, so I don't know if I've done something wrong!! Kath

But you are forgeting one thing. he also said yesterday that this was the worst site he had ever come across. badly designed and thought out. he said as he was a web designer or something like that he should know. he also made out that we were all stupid. so no I dont think he should be forgiven until a proper apoligy is given by him. what was his name again oh yes glyinne. he was that clever he never knew how to spell anybodys name.

Yes, I think we've got the message. At least Glyn has had the courage to tell all. Would you have? I think-NOT! Well done Glyn; you were very brave coming clean, and I'm sure meant this towards an apology.

Glyn, So what you are saying is that it was your fault in entering your details which prevented you from full membership? I think you owe a few people an apology. Jim

Re earlier message. I re-joined and it worked this time. The problem seems to be with worldpay, if you make a mistake in the card details, you get an error message and gives you the chance to try again, however it then goes 'pear shaped' by confirming that you have paid (on the second corrected attempt) but does not verify the membership. Of course this may mean that I've paid twice! (well it's cheap anyway) but I have informed genesconnected about this problem. My advice: if you decide to join and make a mistake in entering your details, make sure you log out completely and try again before re-entering your details. glyn
