Hello Peter What an interesting story.My husband asks "do you know why he was buried in Nova Scotia" as its approx 1,000 miles from where Titanic sunk.Hope you don't mind my asking. Jude(s.wales)

Peter I think that is a great story, but at the same time a sad story, It always brings a tear to my eye when I think of the Titanic. It is so good that you have found this out about your Grandfather. Good luck Debbie

2 years ago at the age of 71 I got my real birth certificate. I then went to Portsmouth and did lots of searching, successfully. but most interesting was about my grandfather. evidently about 1904 he was a very rich man known in the newspapers as the "Soap Wrapper King" he advertised the wrappers in the papers. unforunatly lost the money about 1908 he was also a barber, so he went on the ships and in 1912 went on the Titanic as a barber but didn't survive he is buried in Nova Scotia. My wife has a book about the Titanic and in it is a picture of him. history is worth looking into. Peter White
