Trying to find relatives of my paternal grandmother Bridget (nee Murphy) Preston, born March 14, 1904 in Bothwell, Scotland. Parents names were Rose and Patrick Murphy. Their date of marriage was April 5, 1903. My grandmother Bridget moved to Montreal and changed her name to Beatrice, was known as Bea, she married John Randall Preston and they lived in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They had one son, Robert Randall Preston. Bridget, we were told, had 13 siblings, all younger than her. We know she had a younger sister living in Montreal, her married name was Sarah Mossey, and she went by the nickname of Sis. Bridget also had a brother called Charles or Charlie who lived in Blackburn, West Lothian, Scotland. Anyone with information can e-mail me directly at [email protected].
