Welcome to GC Marilyn. Can I suggest that you try looking for their marriage certificate on scotlandspeople(.)gov(.)uk. You will need to remove the brackets! You really need to have a bit more detail for anyone on this board to be able to help you. I do have the 1881 census for Scotland and found 2,391 William Andersons listed and 2,682 Mary Browns! You will get great help and support from the many members of GC. I couldn't have got to where I am now with my tree without the help and tips I have found on these boards.
