Would somebody at Support please explain why we have to put up with this frustrating go slow of the boards every night at the same time. If you know that it is likely to go slow it would be courteous to warn us your customers. I have e mailed you already and had no reply. Other people are also getting annoyed as we are wasting our time. ann Glos

Ann I completely agree, also am I the only person who sometimes really struggles to get from one page on the site to another. Getting really fed up of the constant error messages. I appreciate the site is getting bigger all the time (the database of names is now huge) but surely this was anticipated? Rachel (who it took about half an hour earlier tonight to get from my home page to the tips board)

I remember something a little while back when, when this site was on a go slow. and I think they said that they were sending out the newsletters. it was either friends reunited or genes I cant rememberwhich one. I recieved friends letter day before yesterday so perhaps that is why because their system cannot handle it. Debbie

Rachel No you are not the only one and it is getting ridiculous now. Also the constantly being thrown off and not being able to gain access to the site for sometimes more than an hour. Tonight I have been thrown off 3 times and it has taken so long to get back on over an hour in the first instance. It would help if we could be told of the reason for the go slow or the site going down. It seems e-mails are ignored and there is no explanation forthcoming for all this disruption. As you say, the site is getting bigger but surely this was expected. Please Admin do us the courtesy of explaining the reason for this. There was no delay in taking my money - albeit a very reasonable price but nontheless a service paid for but not being received. Kathleen

i to am fed up with it took me a while to part with my money know i have cant access the information its not just night time ive had this problem it also in the day but it as only been the last couple of days. please can we have an explaination

Over the past 48hrs have come onto site several times only find boards going slow, so have given up. This isn't only in the evening it was also in the mornings as well. I think that they will end up losing memebers if this continues as no-one will want to renew memberships however cheap they are!! Shelli

Quite agree.Its any time of day now and could be longer than past 48 hrs. GC you really need to be telling us what is going on. Jude

I've never had a problem. Are you all on dial up? I am on broadband and there are many other sites that are much slower than this one. Margaret

Margaret, I am too on Broadband and i have been slow before the nail went into the phone line around 80:30 pm so no it is GC. Sue C.

Its defitnly GC I have had no problems with any other site.

And please spare a thought for us Aussie members who are invariably unable to access the site at all during our morning and early afternoon. This is not go slow, it is a complete shut down. As several other members have said all we need is an explanation and, hopefully, an apology for the inconvenience. Peter

I think I spoke too soon the other day about not having a problem. I couldn't get on at all last night, (about 10pm BST. Gave up and sat outside with a bottle of wine. Didn't care then!!!!! Margaret
