Hello Brenda What a nice name, I looked it up in my book: KIBBEL, KIBBLE - see KEEBLE.... KEEBLE: Olde English 'cybbel' perhaps the source of 'kibble' meaning Cudgell. A maker or seller of cudgells, or perhaps, originally someone stout and heavy as a cudgell. ..................................... The white part of the name may have come about because of the colour of the wood. If you do a Search on the left for the surname you will find almost 100 other names.
