Not counting myself I can get back to 1797 in four generations in my family. My father born 1913 (still alive) is 90 this year. His father born 1868 and lived until he was 80. His grandfather born 1826 was still alive in 1901. His great grandfather was born in 1797 and lived until he was 84. Thats 206 years in 4 generations. Can any one beat that? Gary

Can't beat you on years, mine goes back to 1802, but can go one generation more. My Dad, who is still alive, his mother, his grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather.

Gary, I think I can beat it: Not counting myself (born 1946) Father born 1896. G.Father born 1847. GG.Father born 1822. GGG.Father born 1777. All are proved except the final one, though I have proved his death, with age stated at the time. Elisabeth
