David, If you order the marriage certificate you might find out more. Marriages Dec 1881 Abel Mary Ann St.Faith's 4b 296 Chapman Edward St. Faith's 4b 296 Seeing as it says "formally agricultural labourer" it does imply he's retired. Crista |

Edward Chapman,b horsford norfolk. could my g grandfathers age be wrong on the 1901 census? he has a child of 7 but he's 79 his wife mary ann able 49.cannot find him on the 1881 census or 1851 census.found a edward chapman b 1852 on bmd, but cannot find him on 1881 census.hope someone can help me david |
