great war 1914-1919

I don't know if any one is interested but i visited a church today in Portsmouth and one of the war graves has a lot of names and regiments on it. i have been advised that these men might have been living in this area at the time however i cannot confirm this. I have taken a photo and details if anybody is interested. Eileen |

speaking of the wars in christchurch cemetery there are two complete lines of graves of foreign servicement buried there, the graves are in pristine condition as i believe the council look after these. if anyone thinks their rellie could be one, i'll go back and get a list of names. hevi |

There are some war graves in Ashford (Middx) cemetery. These are servicemen who died in the nearby hospital which was used as a Military Hospital during 1939-1945 war. Would be happy to look for any if you think you might have a relative buried there. Kathleen |
