Janet, I have had a look around 1837 but not found anything else. I haven't done anymore good since my last posting, if you want to have a go and then post the result as I shall be off to bed soon. (I have been looking at Crabtree.) Elisabeth

Tina, I'm not having much luck at present - can't find that maiden name. I've looked 1944 - 1946 and only found one more infant death but the mother's maiden name was also Crabtree! Which area of the country are you thinking it will be? Elisabeth

Tina, Thanks for the mail. I have printed off the births for that year but stopped looking at the deaths when I found that one. I will look again at the deaths shortly and see what else I can find. (Just about to eat!!) Elisaheth

hi janet hi elisabeth just logged on to update what ive found out and saw your offers of help thankyou.my grandmars maiden name was creasser first name emily ,she first married a thomas sloane then a james crabtree my family is getting so confusing! thanks again ive emailed you both x

Tina, I think I have found it for you. Alan W Crabtree (Mother's maiden name Hodges) Birth : Vol 6d Page 542 Birmingham Death: Vol 6d Page 349 Birmingham Hope this is the one you need. Let me know if you need anything else. Elisabeth PS. Forgot to say, both entries were in April/May/June 1945

Might he be on 1837 site? I think this goes up to quite recently. Let me know if you don't have access and I'll do a look up for you this evening after work. Janet

just found out my grandma had a baby boy who sadly died at 3 months is there anyway of tracing him?my aunty and mum didnt know his name but the surname is crabtree they think the year was 1945 he died of pnumonia (sorry i know thats spelt wrong)if any one can help i'd be gratefull thanking you tinax
