Hi, Just a shot in the dark. Knowing that Broadwinsor can't have been all that large in the 18th/19th century I wonder if among your 'Cases' you have any stray 'Knights' or Pomeroys? Or if you have come across any? William Knight married Harriet Pomeroy in 1827 and they had children George, Sarah, Susan, John, George (1830) (my husband's Gt Grandfather). I have not been able so far to go further back than this.I do not have a date for the birth of William but have a tentative date of birth for Harriet of 1809. Just a thought Ann Glos

Thanks Rod, this is an old one but I still have a lot to find with my Knights and Pomeroys. i have used dorset OPC for other names but not done a comprehensive search for Knihts etc. Will do that. thanks for jogging my memory. Ann Glos
