What's happened I've been away for two weeks and now my poor brain can't find it's way around the site it's all too busy!! I liked it the way it was! Too many adverts too! Too many bits added,oh i might just have to give up on this site. Ann,Darlington fresh from the Algarve

I came here earlier after a break, and saw the new layout. Gosh, that is a lot better. The links are easy to see, spaced out and dont run into each other, and the paler colour is a lot easier on my tired old eyes. With the old layout, I had to turn the colour down on the monitor. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I can`t understand why others don`t like it.

I have received a very polite reply to my e.mail from G.C. basically they are saying that some folks wanted changes and you can't please everyone! My 'comments have been noted and passed on to the development team to take into account for future site enhancements' - !! Sue.

I have e.mailed G.C directly and am waithing for reply - i'll keep you posted!! Sue P.S. This is whats annoying - After adding a reply I will now have to go back into messge boards, wait for that, then into Guest book and wait for that before I can get back to the message list - anyone know a quicker way? Or am I just dim!!

Who are they kidding. Anyone noticed that they don't say how many are registered now. Ros

Wonder if their sister site, FriendsReunited is going to undergo a makeover. Although I don't use it much these days, I popped across to have a look earlier on, and it still retains the larger text used for the menu options, which I much prefer.

I meant to say, GC admin probably wont read the messages unless the title is more direct and draws their attention to the thread. Ann Glos

It has the look of having had a make over by a 'professional'. It gives me a headache, the boards glare, and I agree it feels unfriendly. I guess that not so many people will use it now. In fact the members board is not so well used as it was already. Ann Glos

Sorry G.C. The new look is far too cold and 'American' (apologies to anyone from the U.S.) and it's given me a headache. The whole thing has lost it's friendly, intimate feel. Getting between the boards is now a struggle, it used to be fun nipping in between the Tips and Guest book. I know that moaning is a British institution but please, can we have it back the way it was? What do others think? Sue.
