I am looking for Anna. I think her maiden name was LOGAN (?) she died 1999 age approx 79. (1999-79 =1920) in 1950 she was Anna VINELL and also known as Anna SPINKS in 1956 she was Anna COLE, Formerly Anna THOMAS. In 1963 she was Anna BYRNE. In 1980 till death she was Anna CLAYTON. she was living in Eton in 1963 and in High Wycombe in 1980. Does anyone have any ideas how i can find her birth cert? I just dont know how to trace her, i havent managed to get any marriage certs either, i just cant pin down a definate date. can anyone help please?

Lisa, hi. Any idea where she might have been born. There are no Anna Logans on the 1837online, but there is an Annie Logan born Prestwich, last Qtr of 1920 Ref 8d 642, and an Annie Logan (Illegitimate?) born Leeds 2nd Qtr 1921 Ref 9b 588. She could of course with the name of Logan been born in Scotland. Hope this helps. Keith

Thanks all for your help. i have applied for a copy of her death cert, the problem is the carehome where she was from 1996 onwards did not know her birth date or year, they estimated she was 76 in 1996 but left it as a ? as it was never confirmed. i am hoping that maybe her medical notes will have it on as they were at the hospital when she died.. i can but hope. thanks again for your advice.
