Ann I don't think he has anything to worry about - several other halves coming!! But tell him we'll all look after him - perhaps that's what's concerning him! Sue

Hi everyone - Yvonne and her daughter have very kindly offered to pick me up en route so I will be able to join you in Bristol on Saturday - all being well. I'm not sure if I will have time to make a badge but if not that you will probably recognise me as the one that hasn't got one! If that makes sense. Looking forward to meeting up with you all. Kathleen

Sue Report 11 Nov 2003 11:44

Kathleen - that's brilliant. And thanks to Yvonne! I don't think we need worry too much about the badges anyway - it'll soon become apparent who we all are: There should be: Marly, Jill, Yvonne and Sandra, Ann and Tony, Marion, Sally and Dave, Kathleen and Sue And possibly Trish and hubby and Debbi and hubby depending on circumstances on the day Sue

Marion Report 12 Nov 2003 08:37

If you print off last weeks newsletter from GC dated Oct. 30th you can print it off and use the LOGO heading with enough room for your name. See you all on Saturday. Marion

Trish

Hi all, sorry but I won't be able to come after all. Have a good time and perhaps you could have a drink (or two or three) for me. Enjoy yourselves. Trish

I do hope that someone will see this and will be able to let Yvonne know. My wretched car broke down this evening - has had to go for repair and won't be ready until tomorrow afternoon, so I won't be able to make Chieveley. I have sent an e-mail through GC but that is not reliable - they did not send me Yvonne's e-mail!! Had hoped that it would be fixed in time but I suppose it was expecting too much. I am so disappointed but c'est la vie!!! Hopefully there will be another time. I hope you all have a lovely time. Kathleen

Sue Report 15 Nov 2003 07:58

Kathleen So sorry you won't be able to make it today. I emailed Yvonne last night so hopefully she will have checked her emails this morning before setting off. Everyone Whoever arrives first should try to 'bag' the alcove in the non-smoking area and ask if they would put the tables together to seat 10 to 12 of us. See you all soon! Sue

Thanks for organising it Sue it was a great 3 hours (for me) no doubt a lot longer for you as you were still there when we left. It was good to meet Marly, Debbie Yvonne, Jill, Marian and yourself Sue, not forgetting Debbie's family and Yvonne's Sandra who kept Tony amused. (Should I rephrase that?) Who kept Tony company.
