Not the Barbie of Ken & Barbie fame....no.... As an Aussie, I do not know the counties of the UK and according to the family tree in our Family Bible, my Grandfather's Grandfather was born in Barby in 1839 before re-marrying and coming to Australia. Can anyone please tell a "colonial" where Barby is(was) - I mean is it in Kent or Staffordshire or near some larger named area so I can search around Thanks, Dianne |
