My aunt married into a George family. She was born in South Wales in the early 1900s, and I think her husband (my Uncle) was too. CB >|<

i have george in my surname and we were from hereford,canterbury,derby,cornwall,liverpool.

Hi, I am descended from Georges. All of my family came from Mylor and Flushing in Cornwall. There were a lot of Georges from all areas of Cornwall.

My grandmothers maiden name was George and she had quite a few brothers and sister. A few generations live in Luton

A friend is descended from the George family, and they were very prominent in Cornwall for centuries.

Hi Peter, I put a message on the Tips Board regarding my g grandfather Alfred George. Amongst the replies was one from Paul saying that the George name is rife in Ireland. Janet
