Is anyone else having trouble replying to members who are on AOL? The last few I've tried replying to have come back with a message to say that the recipient's account has been blocked by AOL because it is being used to generate spam.

I am on AOL and as far as I know am receiving mail as normal. It is possible with AOL 8 to block mail from people you don't know, in other words, if the person is not in your address book then you don't receive the mail. Could this be the reason why whoever you are sending to does not receive . I have mine set to receive all mail, even though that means I receive an awful lot of spam, junk or porn mail. There is no point being listed on genealogy sites and blocking mail from people you don't know. You have to decide for yourself wether to open the mail or not. If the title of the email is informative as to what it is about then you have to take the risk. Margaret
