Hi All I just have to tell you about a fantastic book I found in my local libary in Bolton. It's called Who was your Granny's Granny? How to grow your family tree, the author's are Paul Blake and Audrey Collins and the price on it is £7.99, the publishers are a company called Foulsham. It gives you all the information you need to start a tree from the very beginning and what geanology is all about, it also includes different website addresses, basically its just got everything you want to and need to know about getting your tree started, I think its perfect for people like myself who are just starting out and getting a bit lost with the whole thing! I think the book as only just been published this year, I'm the first person to take it out of my libary anyway! hope this can be of some help to the rest of you. Alaina x

I would recommend it too. One site it doesn't mention though is this one ! I think GC shoul contact the authors/publishers to see if they can be included in next print of it.
