Just wondered if any of us eyeballed each other at Norwich? Maybe we should have a GC emblem or uniform other than the furrowed brow, square eyeballs and permanently shattered look (from burning the midnight oil).

Hi Brian Well i was there on Sunday as were a couple of us Norwich girls, but a badge would have been a great idea. When we arrived the man taking the money on the door asked how we had heard of the fair and when i said GC he asked what that was?????? I thought he was joking at first, but no he was serious!! I soon put him straight, but thought it was odd that such a well known and used site as this was unknown by someone involved in genealogy so much! Yvette

I spent a couple of hours there, 11.45-1.45, and spent far too much.

I bought a London Atlas, 19th Century Surname Atlas and the 1841 and 1891 Essex censuses, all on CD, plus a couple of blank family tree charts and a few odds and ends.
