i have now realised that i am the only one on here from Chesterfield. so i will have my own christmas get-together (unless anyone else would like to join me???)

awww that's no good can you not make the manchester one? if ever me and hubby are working chesterfield i'll let you know then may be you can meet us and have a night out :0) there must be someone else from chesterfield take care tina xx

hey kate, brampton is just walking distance from where i live. good drinking there. 'the brampton mile' & bob don't be cheeky. were very proud of our crooked spire. thank you all for your invites. arn't you all lovely. aaah

Georgina, I'm sorry you are not able to come to Manchester, I'm going, I live near Preston now but I'm still a Derbyshire girl (well old woman) at heart, I can still remember the Saturday afternoons shopping in Chesterfield. June

Georgina - why don't you organise the Nottinghamshire get-together? I noticed you put your name on an earlier thread suggesting a meeting of those of us in the locality - perhaps a new year meeting might be a good idea, as Christmas is nearly upon us (or so it seems as Slade are already in Safeway - very loud and extremely clear) Jacqui
