has anyone any information on a henry finnis.i think they came from kent.he was a steamship steward.i know nothing about his wife but i do know he had a daughter called annie born in 1884 and eventually was sent to live in west hartlepool were she married a george william hodgson ( my gt gt grandfather) any info would be agreat help |

Hi, I live in Kent and immediately recognised the name Finniss. Will have to do a bit of research but coud find you some addresses to contact to see if their the right bunch. The ones I am thinking of are in the Tenterden area. |

I have a FINNIS in my family tree and i am in Kent My great grandmother and father were James and Elizabeth ROLFE they had nine children one of those children was Dora Rolfe who had a daughter Dorren who married a FINNIS but i have not gone down this line of the family yet so that is all ai know |
