just taken up looking for mothers side, I left sth Norwood, 1939,evacuated to Brighton, G,f & Gm lived in Coventry Rd, I remember a cousin, Rosie Pink, [true] she was younger than myself, (im 76] . would be glad of info of the Spearpoints |

I dont think I can help you very much, Arthur, but if you look to top right of screen, there is a box marked "Quick Search", write in surname only and click on search, and up comes 90 odd Spearpoints, good hunting. Derek Perhaps there maybe others on GC to help this Pensioner? |

hi alfred i dont know if this is any good but i found a family on 1891 census who were all born in sth norwood.there are quite a few more families on there as well,some from sussex andrew spearpoint head 46 plumber,decorater sth norwood annie eliza wife 44 andrew joshua son 20 plumber,decorater annie eliza dau 18 shop assistant florence ester dau 17 dressmaker percy geo son 15 alfred william son 10 sidney son 7 11 portland rd croydon |
