Dearest Carol. I have read a few of your messages regarding your husbands ill health and I have read them with admiration for you. You seem so strong. I would like to say that even though I do not know you, I was so moved by hearing about your loss I had to send this message. I cannot express with words my sorrow for you but I wish you all the best for the future and hope that joy will enter your life again soon. Sweet dreams. Jackie

Carol, Thinking of you at this most terrible time for you. At least he is at peace. Of course he passed after you left his side, it was what you both wanted and he fulfilled his wish and last obligation to you. Be strong but not too sad. You will be together again when the time is right. As the days pass you will feel a sense of relief that someone you loved so much has been delivered of all suffering and indignity, isn't that what we would wish on our most beloved ? Take time to heal and come back when you are ready. As others have said, you have many friends here and they will always be willing to listen and offer comfort. Pam

Dear carol and family my deepest sympathy to you all on your very sad loss. maybe this small verse which I have found comfort in when I have lost loved ones........... Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there,I do not sleep, I am the thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain, When you awaken in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush, Of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night, do not stand at my grave and cry I am not there, I did not die. Thinking of you God Bless lynn
