Well has anyone managed to bag a bargain in the sales? I managed to get...an electric kettle,toaster,sandwich toaster,3 dressing gowns and had change out of £25.... Lynn......Happy new year to everyone

Lynn Wow..you did very well...Congratulations,,,now thats a bargain..!!!! We did not deliberately go to the sales but stumbled across a chair for our verandah marked down by $109....so we were well pleased...Did we really need it??? that could be a differnt story...lol Happy New Year Kate

At Big W I bought sonex electric toothbrushed (2 of them) for 25 quid. These are 75 quid in Argos and are definately a bargain. I used it this morning and was very impressed.

oh def got a bargain .... we got over £200 worth of toys for just under £90, with 4 kids and several neices and nephews we've covered part of their birthdays and a few xmas, also included were general pressies if the kids get inveited to parties. Also got 2 £50 book cases for the price of one in ikea. And yes these were all things we would've brought... the only problem we have now is where to put all the toys!!!

Siobahn,,,,is that the toothbrush thats been advertised on tv,,,? The one with the rotating head? I bought christmas cards,,,wrapping paper,,,,,ribbons and an electric steamer,,,,
