Hi Anne, No it was found many years ago by my Uncle he was a gardner. There is even a church and graveyard near by, had a good look around but could not find any thing.

Do you think it is a family ring Lynne? That is have you got anyone in your family with the surname initial 'N'? Quite a puzzle if you haven't. Let us know what you find it is intriguing. ann Glos

I am trying to find details of a death which is inscribed on a ring. The only thing is, its got the auctual date but only the initials of the person who died. Any ideas..... It states on the ring A. N. died 14th September 1870. I am due to go to the records office at Woking Surrey to look in the local papers around that date, but wondered if anyone had any suggestions. Lynne from Epsom
