Wow - I never realised he had a further marriage and children. He left three young sons, one of whom I am descended from. Can you perhaps contact me with what you know? It will be interesting to find out more? Thanks Nigel

Thanks for that Bill - I'll get in touch with the peeps and see if we can find a connection. That said, he would have been 67 when he married for the second time - and a large family? It's worth a try.

Trish, Just a five minute walk from the Anchor- we go there for an excellent Sunday roast! Where are you now? By the way what happened to Bill's story it seems to have vanished! Marion
