Hi Jill I've been the last couple of years and had planned to go this year, so yes, add me to your list. Perhaps we'll get to meet some of the locals who weren't able to come to our Bristol get-together in November! Sue

Hi Marly I am hoping that we will get more response, so think it better to wait before doing final arrangements. Hopefully Sue and myself are meeting on Friday and will find a venue for eats/drinks. Who is granny Giggles? Hi Pat. The fair is held in Bath Pavilion, North Parade Road. I am relying on Sue as I don't know Bath that well! Jill

I met Jill today in Bath and we decided that rather that meet anywhere else for lunch it would be better if we all went straight to the Fair. There are over 100 stalls including: The Society of Genealogists, The Guild of One Name Studies, Bristol & Avon FHS, Wiltshire FHS, Glamorgan FHS, Herefordshire FHS, Carmarthenshire FHS, Gloucestershire Record Office. I've been for the last 2 years and there's a small basic coffee bar there where you can get tea, coffee or cans of coke etc, crisps, rolls (which they make when you order so there's often a bit of a queue) and those packs of biccies or fruit cake. Enough to keep the wolf from the door at any rate. The doors open at 10.00 am and the Fair closes at 4.00 pm. We thought if we decide on a time to meet the best place would be in the foyer - there are usually a large books/maps stall and one selling back copies of various family history magazines in the foyer before you go in to the main hall, so plenty to keep us occupied while we wait. Jill and I thought 11.30 would be a reasonable time to suggest meeting - but we can decide that nearer the time. If anyone gets there when the doors open they can have done a recce for the rest of us before meeting! Sue

Hi All, Are the arrangements that Sue and myself suggested ok with you all? So far in the party we have Debbie and family, Sue, Marly & daughter, Pat, Wendy and myself. We also have Yvonne as a possible. Jill
