Hi Pat Vet friends seems to go back as longs as the US Forces have been going. As each member wants to sign in they list their platoon or company or whatever. It's def as far back as WW1 cos its got it's own section. Can't promise anything but if you give me loads of information I may be able to find someone who served with your person. If you only have a name and a force and a year we can narrow it down. Remember it is a voluntry site and not a government listing. email me ok

Out of sheer frustration I have joined vetfriend and can now offer to do look-ups for anyone. I can't promise a result as it is an entirely voluntary website just like friends reunited. What I need is First name and Surname and US force ie US coast guard, US Navy etc and the years that they were in or the year that you are looking for. Rank would be helpful in slimming down the results. If you e-mail me your details to busaboy215@aol(.)com then I can reply with the results rather than keep going back to this thread. If you want I could post a short message for you too if I don't get a result.
