I don't remember the squirrels but yes it was Charles and Anne. Two and sixpence for Charles and sixpence for Anne. You did have to be in it a long while for a badge my mother did it for a long time. Rosemary.

Sue, I think it was Princess Anne and on another value, Prince Charles. I can just about remember that the stamps had a squirrel on them previously, - I think.

I vaguely remember someting from Primary School - did they have a picture of the queen as a little girl on them or was it Princess Ann. Sue

Even though I was only a child the headmaster of my school came to our house one day to ask if I would sell savings stamps. I sold them to family friends and neighbours but don't remember getting a badge or going to a party When you had a book full you then used it to buy natonal saving certifcates Bren

How many members remember the National Savings Stamps. My mother was a street collector. They were given badges for service. Every year the mayor gave them a tea party. We also had social evenings. Rosemary.
