I have in my possesion two photgraphs of a family of Jarrets who were Salvation Army Officers. One states "Taken on the occasion of our Silver wedding January 4th 1924" The photograph is titled Adjutant and Mrs Jarratt S.A.A. and Family." It shows the parents and two teenage children (one boy one girl) all in Salvation Army uniform. There is also an earlier photograph (taken Christmas 1917) of the same family, the girl is called Cissie and the Boy Chris. Bramwell. There is a name and addresss on the back: "CAPT. H. Jarrett 32 Brayton ST WORKINGTON. The card was probably given to my great grandmother who was Mrs Henrietta Bennett, at that time probably living in Blythe. I also have a much later photograph (est 1940ish) which shows two young women one of whom is Adjutant Celia Jarrett. I can scan and email copies to anyone who thinks these are related. Unfortunately, as there are no Jarretts in my family tree I can't leave my name as a live contact. I'll check the replies from time to time.

hi paul - the secret to that is add someone of the surname u want to your tree and then you can add then to the trying to find - I had to do that myself good luck
