Not sure how one would go about it but you might want to check US records as there are quite a few Clementson's there as well, a handful showing coming from England per the US 1870 census. Judy :)

My surname is not common I have researched the uk electoral role, and there are approximately 450 family units in the uk. How can I best contact all of them to try and build up a picture of how they are all inter-related ? I want to seriously explore where they all came from, their successes, their occupations, common threads, etc. Has anyone done anything like this for an uncommon surname ? Peter
