What DID happen to the search for a pooter for Viv? I thought she was all up and running ages ago - I know I remember that Viv was having probs with pay as you go, my hubby gave in to the monthly fee after he saw the first couple of phone bills, i'd say lol except that it nearly gave him a coronary!! Sorry Viv i'm talking about you as if you're not here, did'nt mean to.. Sue

I didnt know Viv e-mailed from her tv,,,I thought there was a big campaign last year to get her a pc,, It cant be easy trying to do pc stuff via a tv,,,poor Viv,

GC Admin Thanks for the reply, I am sure we appreciate your position and that people will try to go direct to you in cases of doubt in future. Viv is on internet TV and has had loads of problems which may explain her loss of contact (but not why her name appears to have disappeared).

Judy and Max I thought it might be that reason. I even done a search for her name but that has gone as well. So if they just got rid of her just like that why cant they just delete the trash on at lunch time all the filthy talk and rubbish is usualy left there for everyone to read, which is wrong as there are a lot of people that are offended by bad language. The current crop of viruses is spoofing some very realistic e-mail addresses, I have been contacted both at home and at work with messages from anti-virus software telling me that I have sent an infected message, when I have not. At least one came from a "respectable" address which I MIGHT have had occasion to contact, but hadn't. It certainly looks as if Viv has been duped into thinking that she has been sent infected mail from GC, when I strongly suspect that is not the case, jumped to the obvious but incorrect conclusion, reacted and had her membership chopped. Maybe one of us should contact GC to explain the above in technical terms.

There were several messages from Viv and GC personally responded back to her both by e-mail and then to her actual posts on the boards asking her to refrain from bad mouthing GC for something they had no control over. (Virus that was going around, from what I ascertained, was actually a worm that was/is using GC address to spread itself.) "Bad mouthing" is my choice of words for lack or better ones....GC worded more politely! I think Viv, after their request was posted to stop, posted yet again...and it seems they have removed her from the boards. I could be wrong, and I'm sure I don't have all the facts but it appears to be what happened.....who knows, perhaps Viv removed her posts herself. I will, for one, will miss her on the boards but have her e-mail address to check in on her.... Judy

Earlier on I saw a thread from Vivien Crean about the email virus( not from gc) anyway now it has gone there was also another message from her but that has gone too also about viruses. She has one thread at the moment The little book of nonsense I know she wrote a couple of things on there but they have gone. And if you click on her name it comes up with error please contact support. Has she done something wrong about what she wrote about the viruses and gc have taken her off. or can anyone else explain this. Debbie
