Paul, I should think she should appreciate it. well done. My husband, while being affectionate and lovely in all other ways doesn't bother with valentine's day - he did when we were a lot younger but now says it is too commercialised and he objects to lining the pockets of people who cash in on it. For many years I used to buy him a card but I have stopped too now. I should add we are very happily maried and have ben for over 43 years!! However he did buy some pink bubbly 'to have on valentines day' this morning so all is not lost! Ann Glos
