Iv'e just remembered this from a couple of years ago.Hubby had gone to the local shop to buy a newspaper and stood in the queue to be served. He hates bad unwashed smells and was none to happy when someone came and stood behind him who he said stunk to high heaven,so he moved up ...they followed...he moved up again...they moved up again...by now he felt he was going to vomit so he turned and said....do you mind moving because you bl--dy well stink.has anyone else the guts to say this to anyone?

Love the smell of a launderette, clean washing on the radiators, clean washing when dried outside, puppies too and matches once they have been struck. Don't like the smell of fresh cut grass, tar, cigarette smoke on someone who has just put one out, stale alcohol and lastly the loo after hubby as vacated! Naomi

I like the smell of clean babies, fresh bread, clean washing, newly cut grass and Autumn. Hate the smell of dogs, cheesey feet, Bachelors super noodles, fried food on peoples clothes and the bloke that goes in the newsagents who always wears shorts even in the middle of winter! Have you also noticed that you go off/are attracted to certain smells when you're pregnant? I still can't stand the smell of Obsession perrfume and it's 15 years since I had my first baby. Just a little whiff of it and I could heave - think it reminds me of morning sickness. On the other hand with my 2nd daughter I had a thing about sniffing roll mop herrings and I don't even like them. I'm pleased to say that one has worn off. Jeanette

Lynne are your local farmers putting the sludge that comes from the sewage farms on their fields? Our local ones got paid to spread it a couple of years ago - it came in tipper lorries and by golly did it hum! Sue

I also love the smell of a baby, especially freshly bathed and powdered (but it must be Johnson's baby powder), bacon cooking, fresh bread, fresh cut grass, Autumn mornings. I hate garlic breath, diesel fumes and, since I gave up smoking last April, stale cigarette smoke. Yuk, did I really smell like that? Sue
