HiHi Kathy, hope this is OK with you. What I've done is copy your thread and merged it with Roberts so that he has the figuers. Please don't stop your input advising folk! :-) Robert, hope your still interested and I haven't dropped a clanger here. I must own up that I am fascinated as to how the result will turn out as about 20 years ago I did a similar excersise on a small group of us that were studying Astrology. Based on their natal Charts, out of 10 people, only 1 didn't have Water in a prominant position in their charts (either, Birth sign, Assendent, MC or high No. of planet placings), the Scorpio eliment came out on top, probably not surprising given their 'Detective' (or nosey! :-) ) side. When I saw your Post I had a mental bet that Scorps would again lead the field. All the Best Peter All below copied from Kathys Post untill ************ Original Added by Kathy Wade on 28/02/2004 12:19:01 What star sign are you??? What is your star sign and how typical are you to those characteristics? I am a Gemini which is an air sign. Geminis are governed by the mind rather than the emotions. We are adaptable, good humoured and creative. We are also analytical (as are Virgos) which often makes us perfectionists and drives my husband mad when doing d-i-y. We get along with other air signs - Aquarians and Libras (my husband is an Aquarian). Kathy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Jo in Yarm! on 28/02/2004 18:16:18 I'm an Aries, not a typical one. Rarely lose my temper and rather sit in the background. Hubby a Leo. Not much up on it so will look out for all the input! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Steph Bland on 28/02/2004 18:35:35 Star sign cancer. We are suppose to be patient, kind, considerate and make excellent nurses. I can't stand the sight of blood , do not suffer fools gladly, and can be really crabby! So, apart from the last bit, not typical at all!! Steph ;-) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Janet from East Northamptonshire on 28/02/2004 19:23:49 I'm Libran - well at least, I think I am! (indecisive)! Also an air sign, and some of my best friends are aquarians. Janet -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Kathy Wade on 28/02/2004 19:43:03 Jo, Aires and Leo are both fire signs, so this makes for a good warm relationship. Since Leo is a leader its as well you sit in the background. Steph, Cancer is a water sign and governed by the emotions, making you changeable, over-sensitive, imaginative and sensation-seeking - ouch!!! (Princess Di was a Cancerian). I have found my Cancer friends to be sympathetic and understanding and they make great mothers. You should get along with the other water signs - Pisces and Scorpio. About my own sign, I forgot to mention that Geminis are unpredictable and moody....... Kathy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Jo in Yarm! on 28/02/2004 20:25:38 Kathy, yopu seem pretty much up on this, so how does this go... Hubby Leo, me Aries Son- Aquarius, daughter- Gemini, daughter - Cancer. Best friends- Aries, Scorpio and Virgo? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Kathy Wade on 28/02/2004 21:28:28 Jo, Your Aquarius son and Gemini daughter should get along well with each other (if not now then probably when they are older) and your Cancer daughter will probably be looking for favour from her Leo father who seems to be the dominant figure. You should have a lot in common with your Aires friend - not sure about Scorpio and Virgo though. Do you have any Sagittarius friends because that is the other fire sign you should get along with. Kathy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Marie-Anne Sampson on 28/02/2004 21:34:56 I am a true Librian. I weigh everything up and then make my mind up. Once made there is no changing it!! Well balanced, do not like atmospheres or grumpy, ignorrant people. Love my home and every thing has a place and must be kept in it's place. Husband and children are the most important things in my life!! maz x -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Kathy Wade on 28/02/2004 21:48:22 Maz, You are right about Libras weighing things up - Libra is the sign of the scales and they like their scales to be well balanced. This is why Libras are supposed to be indecisive because they can see both sides of a problem/situation. Also diplomatic and just. Kathy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Janet from East Northamptonshire on 29/02/2004 10:47:33 Maz - you summed me up EXACTLY! Kathy - what do you make of the fact that I am a Libran and my husband is Aries - the exact opposite side of the chart! Is it that opposites attract?! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Kathy Wade on 29/02/2004 14:41:03 Janet, Had to look this one up. Aries and Libra are opposites, so they may need to find a happy compromise. Kathy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Terri Morrow on 29/02/2004 14:43:55 kathy what about? virgo married to virgo, with leo and aquarian sons. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added By Peter in York on 29/02/2004 15:10:49 | Update Message | Delete Message HiHi Kathy, don't know how you feel about this, it's just an idea, but might it be OK for you to merge your thread with Robert's " We should do a survey on Birth signs, which one are you?" as Robert was keeping a rough count. Think the 'Good guys' (Scorpio's of course!! :-) ) were winning. It's currently on page 9 (at 15:08 29-02-04) title "We should do a survey on Birth signs, which one are you?" All the Best Peter -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Kathy Wade on 29/02/2004 15:48:06 Terri, Before I sign off and let Robert take over (missed his thread altogether) Virgos are realists and two Virgos should have a mutual outlook on life which will form a bonding relationship. As for your Leo and Aquarian sons - well boys will be boys but Leo will end up in charge. Regards, Kathy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Terri Morrow on 29/02/2004 17:08:36 cheers kath . you are spot on -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Marie-Anne Sampson on 29/02/2004 17:16:46 what about librians and leos? with a scorpion and a virgo for sons? maz -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Steph Bland on 29/02/2004 17:53:17 Hi Kathy, thanks for the run-down on Cancerians! Well, I'm definately nothing like Princess Di!! As for a good mother, you would have to check with my 6 year old daughter, but I am sure she would disagree at the moment , as I've just banned her pocket money for six weeks, 'cause she broke my printer with a crayon wedged inside!! p.s. Married a Taurian!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added by Janet from East Northamptonshire on 29/02/2004 18:30:51 Kathy ........ interesting! Us Aquarians tend to be classed as Bonkers or at best eccentric!! Yes, organised - yes, get on with almost everyone in the world - yes, do anything for pals - yes, don't much care what others think of us - yes, like to stand out in a crowd, otherwise known as 'creative' dress sense. But don't cross us - or more particularly don't cross anyone we care about or you'd better BEWARE !!!!! Maz. XX (not trying to scare you or anything lol)

(Quote): Added by Susie In High Wycombe on 16/02/2004 10:26:01 im an aquarian, hubby is a taurus,no1 son is aquarius,no2 son aries,no 3 son pisces and daughter aries susie(Unquote) What an expensive time of year for you Susie!! And so soon after Christmas too!! I'm an Aries too - and yes, I'm impatient (usually with THINGS rather than people), want things done yesterday, often start a project before finishing the previous one etc etc. But I'm also loyal to people. Don't know about the "being a leader" bit - I'm not good at putting myself forward, but I'm good at organising things like parties etc, so I suppose that counts! Hubby is a Taurus - very laid back (I think somebody mentioned horizontal - that fits!!), not generally clumsy, but definitely cack-handed with fiddly things. No temper at all - you CAN'T have rows even if you want one!! Daughter is Aquarius. Fiercely loyal to friends - brilliant organiser (currently working on my surprise 60th in March), don't know if this is typical. Son is Gemini and he's definitely typical. He has to be a bit tough as a police officer, but he's got a VERY soft centre and is good with people of all kinds. I do take all this with a slight pinch of salt, but when you think that we're about 70% water and that the moon controls the tides (water), perhaps there is some effect!!

Sarah Aquarians are lovely people! Typically, as a Libran, some of my very best friends are Aquarians - we seem to have so much in common! Peter Unfortunately I don't have full horoscopes, but your theory is v-e-r-y interesting ........ I know it's not associated, but a few months ago I discovered that my great-grandfather had the same birthday as me - 5th October. Not only that, but he was born in 1846, and I was born in 1946! How about that for a coincidence! 100 years exactly between us.

I too am married to a capricorn. I dont know if its true to his sign but he will never admit when hes wrong! As you can imagine sparks fly!

Peter Report 18 Feb 2004 21:03

HiHi Janet, if you have full horoscopes for yourself, ( with one for Hubby, even better), and offspring, it will (should!) show a list of any apects between the planets, just look down the list of aspects and see if any corrispond, so for eg if you had an aspect Moon trine Neptune (Sheee what a Dreamer!), then look in Daughters list and see if she has any aspect Moon to Neptune, if so there's no 1. Sorry this wont be any use unless you have full horoscopes, I used to do them myself as I was/am fascinated by Astrology. I would have loved to be able to do more research into this particular area to see if it's just a coinsidence or if we do in someway pass some of our traits on to our youngsters. we often see things in our offspring that are very much us, but not quite if you see what I mean. I think modern genetics is starting to come round to that way of thinking. Errr, I'm waffling :-) Take care Peter
