Not sure what you mean by first entered, you will only have one tree per registration, but you have to grow your tree upwards and outwards, starting with yourself then adding your parents. You can then enter their other children (your brothers/sisters). Then your parent's parents (your grandparents). Then their other children (your aunts and uncles). And so on.

Frances: I assume you are trying to input your tree to Genes Connected directly to the site? You may want to try inputting first into a family tree program on your computer first....there are several available for free on the internet or you can purchase for a minimal price. After entering your information into a family tree program, you can then upload your information to GC or any site you wish. It's never a good idea to place your information directly into a site for many reasons but several reasons, especially here at GC, is because you can't print out reports, send your files via e-mail to people you wish to share with, you can't post from one site to another, and if the site should shut down, you lose all your hard work.
