Northumberland Heath... does it still exist?

Thanks Dierdre. I wonder why they had one child just up the road from all the others? It has amazed me how much the families used to move around. Not just village to village but from one end of the country to the other with each child having adifferent birth place and none of the moves coinciding with census night!! Jacky :-) Another message bumped! Found this near the top of the list on 10.3.04. Wasn't me!

Hi Jacky, St Mary Cray is approximately 6 miles south of Northumberland Heath. Dierdre X

Geoff, I had a look at that site and some of the other places were where family lived. It even had a photograph of a family home from 1903!! Diedre, do you know if it is anywhere near St.Mary Cray? Jacky:-)

Does anyone know if this is an area in Kent as all the siblings were born in Kent but in places I had heard of! Many thanks, Jacky :-)
