Member Since: January 0001 Posts: 0 Send Message	hi debbi maybe able to help you, i am also on the sea lol i come from dorset and have many rellis who where seamen in the r.n or merchant service. going back to 1784 my gggg/grand mockridge married an elizebeth hine, i also have her fathers name somwhere, give me a couple of days to see what i can come up with, i have many sites which may be of some help kindest regards alfie

Member Since: July 2003 Posts: 311 Send Message	I think he may have been more of a mariner than a navel seaman...maybe a fisherman or something.He appears on the 1901 census in Ipswich with his son also Headley. If you do find anything on the your Hine link I have a elizabeth hine born in Stratton Cornwall in 1869!! Thank you for replying and for looking! Best Wishes Debbi
