I`ve got to agree with William in de Pool. My own expeariences are, that yes,I`ve been in touch with my first ever girlfriend, but have no desire to meet her,and also been in touch with `lost`friends from my school days, whom I am going to meet, and looking forward to it. In this respect,Friends Re-united,has done exactly what it set out to do,and for this, I applaud them.

Hi - having posted the original thread I then forgot the programme was on, and only caught about 10 minutes of it! Cannot comment therefore on the content of the programme, I suppose I assumed it would be a "let's do them down" type of programme, and it sounds as if I might have been right. I personally have not had any problems with the site, and have been in contact with numerous old school friends. Jacqui

It's very good - and done in a very tongue-in-cheek way. Especially the man who got expelled over some school toilets. It had me laughing for ages

I think its a repeat as I remember seeing something similar before. I think its the story of people whose relationships have been ruined because childhood sweethearts have got back in touch with ex's and relationships have been rekindled.

Channel 5 at 9.00 pm tonight - documentary on the "dark side" of Friends Reunited, the "popular website" - entitled The Curse of Friends Reunited. Isn't it a sister site to this? Should be interesting! Sorry to all those not in the UK who probably wont be able to see it until perhaps it's repeated on Cable. Jacqui
