I proposed to mine 28 years ago cos my mate said that when he said "No" he was supposed to buy me a dress or a pair of gloves!! He said yes!! We celebrate our Silver Wedding on 20 April this year!!

Hiya Robin, Me and my daughter were discussing this issue the other day. Do they have a birthday the 28th Feb or do they celebrate on the 1st March. When you are really five you would be celebrating your 1st birthday. How confusing. Imagine getting married on this day, one wedding anniversary every five years. What a cool way to feel young at heart. Gill

Every four years.....and I like to celebrate on the 28th, and the 1st. In fact, when. like today it is my real birthday I like to celebrate 28th, 29th and the 1st.......at least no-one will forget it!

D'you know? I have never seen my birth certificate so I couldn't tell you. I do know I was born at noon, the joke was that I was born in time for lunch and haven't stopped eating since!
