The hours before I was due to give birth by elective caesarean to my son in 1995...my first child ( did it the second time with my daughter in 1999) Standing outside the ward in the morning sun, it dawned on me for the first time how scared I was & how our lives would be different. "Think Twice" by Celine Dion, was playing on the radio. The words from that song, " you have been part of my life for so long "was significant to me. He had been part of me for 37 weeks & now he would be independant of me. I still get choked up when I hear that song, & It instantly takes me back in time. Elaine x

The time I went down a 12 foot waterfall in a kayak and DIDN'T fall out at the bottom!!!! One of the biggest "highs" ever!! (Friends at the top didn't tell me how far it was to the bottom - otherwise I'd never have done it!!).

The birth of my two amazing, wonderful, generous,caring,loving and so special children - now aged 26 and 28yrs and seeing my husbands face as he held them:0) jude x

I have enjoyed everything I have done in my life from childhood to present,but that moment in time I would like to relive again is speaking to my Dad on the telephone the night before he died.Its been 18yrs and I still miss him Lynn

Maz, I agree, the only problem is now I have to corner him to get one of those "magic kisses" that still knock my socks off after twenty six years His reply is "I am saving them for my old age" hhhmmm............. Lindy..lol..lol..

A special moment for me, my son being born after fertility treatment...and have lived it twice more since then. But would of done over and over again! Nothing can change that moment in time, when you showed your face to your Dad and me. Nothing can change that moment, when opened your eyes to see. Nothing can change that moment in time, when feelings of love surged through. Nothing can change that moment in time, when you made us two into three. Nothing can change that moment, the start of a new family tree.

For me, I’d like to relive that feeling of going away to university for the first time. At the time it felt like a million miles away from anything I’d done previously and I felt nervous and full of trepidation. This was compounded by the fact that my student accommodation was far from ready (the builders were still doing repairs) and I had to move into a temporary building that looked like something from Prisoner Cell Block H. I remember keeping a diary and logging my thoughts, which served as a useful distraction whilst I adjusted to my surroundings. Although I have no actual desire to be a penniless 20-year old again, I feel that the experience serves as a reminder that whatever changes happen in your life, you can mostly look back on them with a smile and a kind of “yes, I did that!” style feeling.
