Off today to buy new shirts and suits, etc.. I'll let you know how happy I feel later when the credit card has had a bashing. It's lovely to get the kind words from you all, thanks. M.

Great news. I had 9 months out of work 1992-1993 and IMHO job-hunting is harder work than working.

Thanks a lot. I can't wait to get the house back, I'm going to keep the heating on all day. One of the problems caused by the stroke is that my hubby is boiling hot all the time, so he turns the heating off and opens all windows, give me a month and I'll look like a hothouse tomato. I'll probably be on here a lot more too, so look out everyone. M.

My husband had a stroke 20 months ago and has been unable to return to work, stress isn't the word for the way we have felt, it has been so bad at times. He decided last November that he wanted to work again, but because he is now classed as disabled, things have been very slow coming together, because there has been so many people involved in the process, but yesterday, we had good news. He had an interview on Thursday and he's got the job, it is a scheme being run for disabled people, who are now disadvantaged in the work place. We are so happy, it seems ages since we had good news. Back to a normal routine, can't wait. M.
