Paypal is like an electronic cheque, where money comes sercurely from either your chequing account or you can transfer money to your paypal account on line and pay for items that way... go to www.paypal.com for more info... I hope i have explained that correctly??

I totally agree with you Joanne, it must be very frustrating for you, perhaps in time, these sites will wake up to the fact that many subscribers are from overseas. I agree about paypal it is a great facility I use it wherever possible. Sue

Hi does anyone else find it frustrating that every site requires a credit-card.. I live in Canada and do not have a credit-card, a lot of the brit sites ask for either credit-card or british debit.. I have neither, why are these sites not more geared up for international subscribers, I think they should consider Pay-pal, it seems to work great for auction sites... What do you all think???
