Hi Suzanne I went there last Saturday and ordered some parish records (£3.80 per microfilm) you have to go there to order the parish records and then they take about 3 weeks to arrive. So I will be going back there in about 3 weeks time. Karen

Hi Janice I haven't been yet, so please let me know if it's worth a visit. Patrick I think they hold information on people born all over the world. My GG Grandmother was born in Naples, Italy and her baptism is recorded on the LDS internet site. I am hoping the records held at the Family Records Centre will have some more information.

I did not realise there was one. I suspect it will only include those born in the U.K. The online website is quite useful also but is dependent upon mormons adding information. It is not always accurate information. There are also many gaps.

Following the other enquiries, I wondered if anyone, like me, lives in the Orpington, Kent area. If so, have you been to the Family History Centre at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints near the station?
