I am desperatly seeking information on a DONALD RYMAN married to BERYL DANBY they had a daughter JANINE. Don lived in carlisle for a while and dissapeared in approx 1964, the last words he said as he left my grandfathers house were 'well see you' soon. No one ever heard from him again. Does anyone have access to any records of newspapers of that time from the west sussex area where he was visiting, as I have pondered on whether they may have been in a car accident of some kind?? His date of birth is c. 1924 in Horsham West sussex to BENJAMIN AND LILIAN RYMAN. My grandfather (his brother PETER RYMAN) desperatly needs to find him for family reasons. If any one can help please email me as i do not visit site very often. I have put a message on the trying to find board but to no avail. PLEASE PLEASE anyone with ANY info dont hesitate to help. THANK YOU ALL CORRINA RYMAN

If you have a second given name which is not too common, it might be worth finding someone with UK Info-disc CD (which is based on the Electoral Roll) and aking them to try a look-up. The probable location (County) would help. Unfortunately, there are likely to be many Donald Rymans in the UK and narrowing it down to a county may be the only way without hours of work. E.G. I have hundreds of namesakes in the UK but only one in the county I live in. It takes maybe 5 minutes to check out one name. I have an older edition, version 7, 2002 and would try a look-up if you can't track down a more recent version. One used to be able to enquire at public libraries but I understand this may no longer be possible. Len

Hi Corrina If you try the b4usearch website mentioned above there is a Donald Ryman in Liverpool (altho he is living with Coralie Ryman). Checked a few main places quickly and there are Rymans in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bristol and London shown on the Electoral Roll. Caroline

Thank you all only just managed to find my way back to the message i posted! I will give it all a whirl, only thing is havent a clue where he could be living or whether they are still living as no one has heard from them in 40 years, its all very strange and hence wondered if they had been in some kind of accident.
