Gay, it may be Court Lane, Perry barr.... so it could be B23....or B24... which is Erdington, Great Barr, or Aston, district good luck Janet |

Hi Gay... I have a birth cert infront of me details as follows.....Harriet Ellen Cornforth born 14/07/1857, at 1, COURT BARN STREET, sub district... St Peter, Birmingham, County of Warwick Perhaps some one can tell us both where it is !!!!! Anne |

A bit belated, I've only just come across your query! Court Barr Street: This would have been one of Birmingham's back-to-back houses and in Barr Street Hockley/Aston area of the city. Lots of my ancestors were in (eg) No l court back of 88 Any Road, All Saints, Birmingham. Printed as l/88 Any Road or No1 court/88 Any Road. You may have already got there aby now anyway - if not, hope this helps! |
