"There's only one Marty Feldman!" Blazing Saddles, ... Madelin Kahn in Stockings! yes please! :-) Woodstock, ... But Not the Digital version, the Soundtrack is so, so BAD Kelly's Hero's, ... Donald Sutherland as a WWII Hippy, Magic! Cat Ballou, ... Lee Marvin's drunken gunslinger & Jane Fonda! The Wrong Box, ... Peter Cook & Dudley Moor + Spike Milligan!!! (Why isn't this out on DVD!!!??????) Moulin Rouge (2001), ... Coz I was so,so impressed with such a genuinly creative interpretation of a classic theme. ANDY How true. I think I could have had 20 in my list. Did you get the idea from last night's "100 Best Movies" programme? Were you as disappointed as I was with the number 1...! What an anti-climax. I notice nobody has got it in their top 8. Suzanne

Suzanne, I very nearly had The Shawshank Redemption in my Top 8 as it is an excellent film and one I've enjoyed time and again, but I also feel guilty about having left Ferris Bueller's Day Off from my list also (!), however it makes a little more interesting if you put a limit on the number of choices. :-)
