Is there anybody who can HELP!! I am stuck with relatives that are from Finland and Russia........any ideas as to where i can search for them next. THANKS |

I can only suggest you contact the Embassy of the two countries for details on who to contact. Russia should have evey detail on every inhabitant they kept a close watch on everyone. It's worth trying unless anyone has any other ideas. Good Luck Pat |

Hi, my grandfather also came from Finland and settled in London in 1891. Finland have some excellent websites: http://tietokannal.mil.fin http://www.genealogia/.fi/indexe.htm My website : http://xs4all.nl/~humaan/rosman/ I have also been into Russian websites. Hi Cath, here is another site www.genealogia@fi/hiski I cannot find the Russian sites at the moment. Maybe I've lost them as I've changed providers and computers and didn't think I'd need the Russian sites again. If I find them I'll let you know.
