Yes, Naomi - it is the biggest one of the year and runs over 2 days. Tickets are cheaper in advance. I am hoping to go and wonder if GC will have a presence there, or if anyone has been before and would like to suggest a meeting place? Maz. XX

I'm going as a lot are held in the week and I can't get to them. Not sure what day yet though. Waiting for friend to confirm as it's her Mum's birthday on the 1st May. Naomi

I think there are some mini lectures etc. There is an article in my FH mag so I'll read up tomorrow and let you know what's on offer. It looks like I'll be going on the Sunday 2nd May as hubby made arrangements for the 1st now. Naomi

Naomi, I have just looked on the RHS website for details about what is there. Apparently the SOG FH fair is taking place in the Lawrence Hall, but it doesn't say what facilities, such as coffee lounge or meeting places there are. So any suggestions as to where to meet? We may go on the Sunday as well. Sue

Hi Sue, Just had a look at my mag and it doesn't give much away either. "Most lectures are £2.50 but this year there's a free Welcome to Family History" running throughout the event. Sponsored by 1837 Online means visitors will be able to search GRO Indexes for free" It doesn't mention anything about what facilities are available either. Maybe we should all wear badges? Naomi

Hi Sue, Just replied to your message on Kevin's post on the Tips Board. I think the Marie Curie daffodils are a great idea. I'm happy to do that. Naomi
