Having to renew membership 2 weeks before old one

Since I've been reinstated after being cut off (did pay my membership fee a week upfront), I have now lost all the trees from other members and also the contact messages that went with them. I hope they don't think I have rudely deleted any contact with them because it had nothing to do with me. Has anyone else experienced this problem. Also I used to get a reminder that I had e-mail as soon as I logged on, but not anymore. So I have to remember to check my Contact box. So much for progress! Patricia Your tree was created on 29th November, so that should be your expiry date, shouldn't it? Kathy

Margaret, Contact genes - I had that problem - was cut off for a while but have now been reinstated!! Good luck!!

I must be one of the lucky ones. My subscription expires tomorrow, I have renewed today, so far no problems. Hope I haven't spoken too soon!! Maggy

Looks as if they are in a complete shambles with upgrading memberships. I paid the £7.50 on the 15th March (although not due to expire until the 22nd) but still got the message my membership was due to expire and to renew now. I complained to GC on several occasions, and it wasn't until they cut me off on the 22nd for a day, that I finally got reinstated. Kathy

mine expires on the 8th april at the moment i can still post messages..i dont know how long for though! susie

I managed to renew mine with no problems just 2 days before expiry date. I only did it because of the trouble others have had otherwise I would have waited til the death! Jeanette

I just tried to post on Tips board. I was redirected to the upgrade page. My membership didnt expire until the 4th or 5th April. I have had to renew on 25th March to enable me to post. This isnt right, anyone else had this happen to them?
